Playing save games with updated scenarios

Hi all,

I have just downloaded the updated Campaign for North Africa version 7 (for ACOW 1.04) but have been playing it with version 5 (for ACOW 1.02) and was wondering if there is a way of using my saved game (up to turn 33) with the newer scenario file so as to have the updated features like command groups within HQ's and different supply ranges and supply trucks?
(WOW what a long sentence!!).

I can't speak with any certainty but I believe the answer to your question is no. The savegame contains all necessary information form the scenario so it doesn't need to read from it again, so you're probably out of luck.

Depends upon how bad you want it.

You can put the updated scenario into the editor and edit it up to the condition of your current game. Probably more work than starting over, though. Lots of things to change and lots of chances to screw up.
