Say Double D. Have you ever told us the night time story of how Double D came to WHQ?
Was it called WHQ back then in the days of horse power?
What did you do before the age of the horse?

I've already made a coffee n cream and my smoke is being rolled this instant.

Say Double D. Have you ever told us the night time story of how Double D came to WHQ?Actually WFHQ was already here. I started another Steel Panthers site (in 1999) based mainly on the Combat Campaign idea. I was asked to bring that format over here and head up the SP Section.

Did you do internet based Campaigns before that?

Did you do internet based Campaigns before that?1st real one was using SP2 back in January 1999 (or thereabouts). Original website can still be found at WEB.ARCHIVE.ORG (http://web.archive.org/web/19991007025717/www.aspmall.com/ddmain/ddmain.htm)

Do you have any future plans of putting together a paper'n cardboard graphics game of Combat Campaigns?

Possibly deciding on a game system and releasing regular magazine issues of new games while updating the main system package?

Hello Double D.

More late nite coffee'n cream bedtime stories: so is there any hope of there being a miniature version of a Double D in the family thus far? [Is there a wargamer in the children yet?].

I've found that having one wargamer in a family pretty much ensures that many generations will pass before the family line is revisited!
So they are rare in other words.

Hello Double D.

Ouch! Well she might want to be a big game hunter some day so she might actually become interested in a variety of guns.
Elephant guns; squirrel-rodent guns; 50 caliber hedgehog guns [spins them around in mid air assuming they don't burst into a cloud of fur and blood - hahahahaha
hmmm substitute a 17lber and you got another kind of Elephant gun!

Yeah time by Hoody and the Blow Fish comes to mind.
You and me we both come from different worlds, you like to laugh at me and that's only till I get the little fur .. or is that Caddy Shack I'm confused with?

Wow. Your site loaded up no trouble tonight. Perhaps it is a day time thing that has some heavy comp use terminals on restricted activity. Last time it failed me on every attempt stating that there was a redirect involved. Access denied. They were day attempts though not evening [library terminals].

I'll be back.

I think I got most of it but the graphics. Seems they are gone forever.

I know. It is cool to have the older material around. It motivates even better material each time around. Of course some things remain classics and cannot be beat no matter how much they may be revisited.
Just this week I came across a board wargame player that is willing to sell me his OSG Dark December game [Ardennes]. I last owned the game when I was a young teenager. It will be cool when I finally have it. Dark December II would be cool as well - once it gets published.

Do you have a board wargame you wished you had today?
