There is no battle as far as I know, orders have been implimented as you can see with your secure access. It's up to DD to determine whats going to happen now.

You scared the bejesus out of me.
For a moment I though I had posted instead of emailed.

For those just reading on, I came across Skirmisher's answer while flipping thru posts waiting till the last possible minute to get all turns incoming. [Fri Library closes early.]

Heh :smoke:

Your welcome to take command of the next battle we may face, whatever that might be.
I'm thinking that the rebels might not be bold enough to attack sector I but who knows, they are full of surprizes.
Actually in retrospect,I probably should have taken Waape's advice and let you fight the last battle.
He is the only other active Pro Gov member as far as I know.

Oh boy that is rough. Did the Rebels scare away the Pro-Gov forces or did they defect and start to leak strategic information?

Perhaps you need to head up a special forces black ops interogation of these commanders eh Skirmisher.

They could probably be picked up on Valentine's day easily - you know last minute somethings for the important one in their life!

We (I) got ours heads handed to us on that last turn an I guess DD thought we werent men enough to stay around in Zone G ,so like on monty python and the holy grail we "ran way".

I dont think we will have to fight this turn.
At least I hope not. :nervous:

This is also a test campaign using SPMBT. It doesn't have the utililies programs that SPWAW has so I needed to find a way to make it fit with the Combat Campaign method of play. In truth, the campaign is seriously out of balance and both the Rebels and Pro-Government forces are fighting an up-hill battle. BUT, this is a test game to gauge interest, test some basic rule structures and devise a workable format.

I know that :)

I was just making some small talk.

What do you mean buy uphill battle?
And out of balance?

I know that :)

I was just making some small talk.

What do you mean buy uphill battle?
And out of balance? The UN has technology on its side AND they get to pick and carefully choose their battles while you and the Rebels slug it out.

Actually that makes sense.
Playing against Freejack and Willy I ahve had to re-evaluate my preferences for force composition.
However, it did not occur until after I had been defeated at a victory level of 'annihilation' --> simply put there were no survivors and what units there were that were alive leading into the final turns were unable to rally or even to expend their shots; they were that badly suppressed or routed.
