I'm so weak...5 mins into KOTOR2 and I've already fallen onto the dark path :D
not far enough into it yet to have an opinion one way or the other, but it's pretty, it's smooth, and it's STAR WARS!!!

You weak sod! Go to the Light! Trust in the Force!
Pfft...Stay in the dark. It might be cold, but at least its cooler then those lame do gooders.

Thats what I hate about myself. When I was playing KoTOR, I just felt guilty if I beat up some old man for his money.... :p

NO! Dark is the new Good.
Nurture your hatred, work for you it can, powerful you will become.

In the first Kotor I stayed pretty much on the edge of good and bad the entire game until power was just within my grasp and BAM- EVIL!

Hmmm... don't like jelly.
So i'm stayin' neutral. I'm like switserland with Hamsters and Ninja's and Lemurs and Zombies...
...In madagascar.

Bestill your fears, padawan. The Dark Side will use them against you, if you let panic overrule you.
Warning! Spoilers of KotOR!

I played through KotOR as Light Side, Scout-Sentinel, and when it came time to dish out the punishment at the end, all it took to keep Malak off balance long enough to defeat him were repeated, and constant, force wave attacks.
In fact, that was the standard attack toward the last third of the game. For non-NPC-quest type missions, it was three usually Me, Juhani, and one of the other two Jedi (preferably Bastilla) with me knocking the enemy down, and then all of us slicing and dicing. It was almost too easy. For some reason (call me kinky) but I generally prefer to play as female characters in my rpg adventures. LoL...Curt's going to have a blast with that one, if he ever sees it... :p
My only real failure in the game was in failing to turn Bastilla back to the path of light... :OHNO:

Okay whats the deal with KOTOR II... Is the dark side like okay in this one... my friend's problem with the Dark is the fact that you are stereotypical movie bad guy Dark Side... you have to kill everyone.. you aren't even bad in a sly thinking way...
Does KOTOR II treat this better...
Servant of the Dark/Light (I play through on both :P).

But that's just Wednesdays. We get other pasties free on other days.
As for KOTOR and KOTOR 2, I'd play them because I like RPGs and Star Wars, but I don't have an Xbox or a powerful enough PC.

Hmmmm...
Zombies are inherently evil... I guess lemurs are too... and i do like doughnuts...
Count me in! :)
On a similar note: V:TM-B masked morality as humanity. It had other different elements like frenzying, sure, but at it's core it was sorta' like morality. I always kept it at about 6/10 sometimes higher, being the smart-@$$/lovable malkavian.

Yo. Zombies aren't inherently evil. The thing zombies are inherently is hungry. They have no good or bad.

Yes, but you never see any good guys (necromancers, virus creators, etc.) making and using zombies. So that means that zombies are evil by association.
And it can also be said that anything that wants to eat you is evil.

the game is large...work interrupted me, but I've got some time now to tinker. :)
KOTOR was either a duel-sabre wielding dark side force-killer, or a pansy arse single sabre wielding duelist who just hit knight speed to kill Darth Malak - I managed to turn Bastila to the light side, and she was still a whiny ***** :D
*SPOILER*
the Second one is more...moral - being a Darksider makes you no friends. Tho the first one did penalise you for being a Darksider - you basically got banned from returning to certain planets if you were too evil. Or lazy to do the good thing (*Manaan* for example)
There's more crystals for my lightsaber though, although the other characters seem less fleshed out thus far. Still fun tho :D

Pfft, real zombies have no explanation for their existence (see: Romero films). And an animal might eat a person, but not out of any "evil" intent.

yay - I finally built my lightsaber! Unlike KOTOR, you have to build your lightsaber from six(?) components - however, you have to find the damned things first.
then we got Patch, and Lefty... :D (joke which will be more funny after you play the game)

One guy talking about KotOR, the other two talking about zombies.
Keep in mind that my zombies were once ninjas.
