Hi All,
I've just heard a rumour from Nicolas Bell via comp.ibm.pc.games.war-historical that there is a WWII version of POA2 in the works.... Sounds very interesting, I wonder if it is true?

Rob,

I'm sure Scott mentioned something about a WWII version some months back when Glenn Saunders left the team. If memory serves me well, his replacement was either already working on the data base or was about to start.

cheers

If it’s true there should be no restrictions built into it’s DataView editor as there are in POA2(civ). This will open up a whole new ballgame in equipment and weapon customisation, enough to satisfy even the most diehard grognard. :)

PS. By the way Gary how’s the Falklands War coming along?

Xray,

The Falklands War 1982 is coming along fine. Currently at the scenario building stage. Most of the historic scenarios are done and work is underway on the "what-if" scenarios. About all that is left after that is to pull together the manual.
