View Full Version : Hello All!
Hello men!
just another wargamer willing to test his skills against veterans like you!!! (and also cadets, of course... ;) )
I played many scenarios against the computer, and now I'm tired of the PO...
If any of you is interested in a medium-lenght scenario in years 1900-1950... well... answer me!
I think I should grant at least 1 turn a week
As a first-time email player, I'll do my best... :nofear:
Let me know what you would like to try. I prefer mechanized
warfare if given a choice!:ar15:
I got some room for a small/medium scenario. Any scenario/side will do.
Welcome aboard, Adaster!
Good luck in your games!
Thank you, Mantis, and Thanks to all the ladder for welcomin'!:D

Adaster, you have been targeted for termination!
:ar15:
If you don't find anyone I'll play you in a small scenario... :freak:
Going from the PO to Brian is sorta like going from a shower to Niagra Falls...

:D Don't let Mantis scare you. I play nice!
Ahh, I remember the good old days when I had 20+ games going on at once. Not a care in the world except when the next turns were going to magically appear in my mailbox. Yep, I long for those days now...only have a handful of games (4) going and time is harder and harder to come by. So I figured a quick game to help out a new fellow wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility...anyway he asked to play a veteran!
Maybe he won't notice my ladder position?
Naw, no one ever looks at the ladder, Brian!
:whist:

Nice to see that the good General still posts those catchy replies!
I cannot give up this challenge from the Leader itself!! :rifle:
Stay tuned to assist at my probable evaporation! :dead:
Ahh, but this sets up the classic chance for triumph over the great power. As a newby who has not yet ventured into PBEM, I say godspeed to Adaster.
And thanks to everyone for their advice, which has helped me tremendously in understanding some of the finer points of this game.
Thanks to cbc72 for supporting this suicidal battle!!!
glad to see there's still some rookie like me on this forum!
I challenged Mr HEAT on "Serbia-Galicia 14": I play the russian' side, while he guides the austrians; well, although I am the attacker, i'm already forced to defend! And we are playing turn 2!! :dead:
However, observing how Mr HEAT is butchering my units is very disheartening, but also really instructive... I don't like to give precious points away like a sort of Santa Claus, but i think that's the bitter price for improvement
I love this ladder!

Does this sound familiar? ;)
In all seriousness, playing against a master is the best way to learn! You may get your ass kicked, but I imagine it'll be an education!
