Hello Guys! Any ideas or suggestions?Due to the access issues I will probably add a couple days onto the deadline if necessary. Hopefully, the other UN commanders will report in soon. If not I may recruit some new players to keep things going.
Col. Boomer here. DD didn't know if you needed us to post or not, but I have been here and checking the forum all along.
To Lt. Gen. Toth,
I would be interested in your plans. Is it time to move into Zone G and "invite" both sides to turn it over to us (or be pushed out)? Or should we move after Zone A. The problem with moving the CATF to Zone A as I see it is that it would be very far from the capital city and airport, leaving them exposed.

Col. Boomer here. DD didn't know if you needed us to post or not, but I have been here and checking the forum all along. If you and mr_clark can work a tentative plan that would be great. If Lt. Gen Toth stays gone we will go with what you 2 have. FYI - I will aslo be adding antoher player to your team, mainly so I can get some more people involved to see how things run behind the scenes to increase interest in the next campaign.
Personally I think we should fortify our hold on C for the most important as the block will hinder rebel activity decisively.
Mybe we can start some light probing action into either A or G, so I think action against A must be taken decisively better in the next turn, so that we can get some marines ashore and attack from both sides.

Hi, I am here: I will be able to articulate orders in Tuesday, I would say. I am still in some negotiations with the parties involved. They are both exhauszed, and are more willing to listen and consider than before. Both of them hope, we will support their cause. We will not...
A is very lightly defended, I think we should deal a blow there now. If we find a suitable place in C, where we can block the road, then from G they will be impossible to break through. Meanwhile, a smaller force would appear at A, forcing the enemy to fight. However, it would a feint attack. When all their forces are engaged, THEN RM from the sea would storm. Afterwards, they would be between two fires, so they would be certainly lost.
I will continue.

So, regarding the actual commands:
I think Mr. Clark should take the battle in C, it should be no problem.
Col. Boomer could take the assault on A - it wont be hard either, but you have to be pretty careful not to lose special equipment.
Is it OK like this? :D
Sounds, allright, hope I don't screw up.... Just the second time to play somebody PBEM in SPMBT....

Dont worry, I will give you some hints in personal e-mail: What is the address you use?
Lt. Gen. Toth:
I am pretty tied up on other things right now and will be out of town (and probably unavailable by e-mail) from Feb 22 through March 2. I could take the battle if nobody is in a hurry. If they are, you probably need to find somebody else.
Col. Boomer

I am available under the adress clark_pbem@web.de, though if this one causes problems you might try mr_C_4@hotmail.com, which I still use, but generally only for newsgroups.

FYI - Pergite is now "officially" with the UN Command.

Pergite,
How much experience do you have with SPMBT? You can take the battle in A, if you want, it wont be too hard, you just have to know the game and be careful, especially at the beginning. You will have a force superiority in an urban assault approx. 2,5:1 with lots of technological edge.
Are you going to try it? (I will give you a very good briefing, so you wont have surprises - it just requires experience and sound execution, but nothing fancy.)
It sounds tempting, but I really hope that they dont have any fancy weapons if I am going into the city with a 2.5-1 ratio. But if I should follow the orders for zone A (OP Turn 7) there shouldnt be a problem. Tie them down, make them bleed and and get us into postion for the next strike?

No, eliminate them. You have to be able to do that, in 20 turns. Gain complete control of the town.
Roger, I shouldnt concentrate that much on whats in the orders thread then. Anyway, I am up for the game and am excited to see what this island has in store for me.
Can you drink the water there? And how much does one give in tip? :D
Are maps (tactical/battlefield ones) and other info on the island available somewhere, as well as intel on different enemy commanders? Intel, AAR:s and lessons learned would be nice to have compiled somewhere.

Before you start the game, I will send you an e-mail with relevant information on this battle. (Please dont do anything before you read it!) In the meantime, feel free to read the battle threads. No compilation is available, we learned on the spot, and did not anticipate replacements. Dont worry, it will be fine! :)
OK I got all the files from DD now. Awaiting orders, sir!
OK got the mail... what the hell is your source, that's waht I would call to the point intel if it's really up to date...
Will try to get it all ready for DD until tomorrow.
