Divided Ground Vietnam Mod v. 1.1

I have been trying several times to download the Divided Ground Vietnam Mod v. 1.1 from the Blitz mod pages but neither the direct link nor the ftp server won't work, anyone of you got it and could mail it to me?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I would like to say that yesterday, I downloaded the DG-Vietnam mod, all associated patches and scenarios, and I am....just blown away here.

This mod is "idiot-proof." I installed it, and everything worked perfectly the first time. I'm no computer expert by any means, so if I can get it to work, anyone can!

My favorite thing about this mod, along with the new tidbits for Divided Ground, is that the units themselves have been reskinned; they look more realistic, the camoflage matches the terrain better, yet the details on the vehicles stand out more. Different infantry types have different colored uniforms (I like those Egyptian commando uniforms).

Better yet, a number of incorrect/unrealistic stats have been corrected. For example, many of the more modern apc's now have a better defense factor of "3" and M113's are now amphibious - as they should be. SU-100's/SU-152's have defense factors of 13, not 10. And the T-10M heavy tank...just looks so cool, and its defense factor increased to 18, as befits such a gigantic, well-armored vehicle.

I could go on and on, but the best way to see this is to download the mod yourself. And, your original DG scenarios will work fine. In fact, my custom scenarios (that I made) updated themselves when I put them int othe new DG-Vietnam folder!

To make a long story short, if you have Divided Ground, download the DG-Vietnam mod + scenarios. You will NOT be disappointed.

Also, a number of the new Vietnam scenarios are "test" scenarios; everything about it is finished, EXCEPT for the points necessary to win a certain level victory. I kinda like this idea; they apparently expect us to play the game, then report back with the score we received.

P.S. Looks as if the mod has been updated to version 2.0 recently.
