PBEM Help on WF - WAW

All,

Recently back in to TS games after several years. Received WAWar, installed great on XP, can play on my own. Opponent sent me a PBEM game for WF. When I pull his turn up, if I say I want to see replay, I get an error box (the one about sending a message to MS). If I don't view replay, screen shows one texture box, rest is black. He says he has same version as me, 1.05.

Compatability issues if he doens't have WAW?

I think jason may have to answer this one. I thought that WF had no version trouble. But I could be wrong....again! :rolleyes:

the game installed fine and saves fine without going through Jason's instructions.

What has worked once before was downloading the WF 1.05 patch and then replacing the *.exe files from the patch to the WF install. (Logically, you could install the whole patch)

If I recall correctly, this remedied the problem you are experiencing.
