150 years old ..

The newspapers were heralding the coming of a new age when people will ahve lifespans of 150 years of age.

Could you imagine playing SP for 125 straight years.

It would probably require some kind of nanotechnology just to be able to store all the maps and memorable game moments [turns] into digital form.

Imagine the world's top general's waistline in inches after that length of time.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm how many Soviet tanks could i lsoe over a lifetime of that length!!

I like other games too ...recently lots of FPS's like Call of Duty and the like...not to mention I got this FPS in WALMART for 9 dollars and it was a total blast..IRONSTORM is the name...

I was into all the steel panthers series 1 thru 3 back in 97 and then for like three years..just a great tank and battlefield game overall..but when I started getting XP machines, steel panthers got shelved cause of the incompatibility....

SPWAW brings it all back.. and I got a retro machine w win98 so I can play sttel 2 and the SP MBT download I got..

You are so lucky.
For some reason i can't find enjoyment in the FPS's.
When I was a young boy I loved First Person SHooters even with pop air guns against other boys and older girls.
But as I got older I found that I just outright preferred strategy games over action based FSP'sIt must be a statistics thing. Like 80% of wargamers like FPS's and action oriented games. The remainder however prefer Command & Control games or the alternative strategy game; in either solitaire or as a group of other gamers in PBeM or HTH or Mail or etc .. [Online! rules I hear since schedules and time zones mesh out considering our other responsibilities.]
