TOAW 1 1.07 Patch

I just reinstalled TOAW 1 so I could convert a scenario to COW. As I recall you need to patch TOAW to 1.07 then open the editor and resave the scenario before it will play in COW if it is old. Problem TOAW will not take the 1.07 patch. Fresh install so no ICD to delete. Error message "Old file not found France-" then some Dos looking stuff. Any ideas?

make sure you've got the right patch

there've been a number of versions of TOAW 1, and a number of different patches

I tried both patches they do not work I will try doing a reinstall later and see if it patches If that does not work I will see if I have better luck with my TOAW Elite. Thanks for the links even though I already have them. I collected all the TOAW version Patches I could find last year and burned them to disc against future disapearance. Right now I'm obsessing on the stuff I was talking about on the"Burning COW" Thread so will revisit. The Patch problem in a couple of days. Thanks for asking:^) Maybe I have to patch to TOAW 1.04 first?
