Flew by the Air Force Academy. They advertise that their cadets play wargames.
"Wargaming employs combat models to reinforce doctrinal principles taught in Military Strategic Studies. Empire Earth® is a real-time strategy game that supports multiplayer scenarios facilitating service, joint, and coaltion exercises. Empire Earth® affords a hands-on learning environment enhancing cadets' understanding of military operations. "
Nah, I just can't see it; air force pilots driving tanks on screen to elevate their doctrinal grasp of combat?!
Maybe April first happens on a different day in the Air Force than on the rest of the world's globe. Afterall who else would produce a Commander that believes the war can be won in the air, so we need not send troops or tanks?!! Of course the strato command grasp of senior air force policy advisors.
Bet they don't fly anymore once they can 'advise'; bet they don't need much oxygen either too!
