I have played TOAW (COW) and I am a beta tester for Supreme Ruler:2010 but thats as far as it goes for me. I was wondering what type of game (world domination or squad based) is POA2 and what if there is a FAQ about this game telling me ,ore about it, I would appreciate it. Thanks for nay help. :)
edit: I am looking for a realitic sim where I can battle other countires (me being the US) and then battle on their land as well as mine. I am not looking for a game that is going to be over in a week. So, if this game will take months or even longer thats fine with me. I am also a solo player. I only play versus the AI.
I just would like to know some more about the game. Thanks again.

I'm guessing no one like this game.
The game is still under beta testing (which in it’s self is another story) so your best bet is to read the myriad of previous post’s which will give you a good idea what the game is about.
There is a hardcore of testers that have stuck with the game though it’s ups and downs (more downs than up) but have faith in it’s potential in becoming an excellent Modern Combat Simulation.
Sorry I cant be more specific, but if you ask fifty gamers what their opinion of POA2 is, you will most probably get fifty different answers (some unprintable!)

Hello and welcome!
visit the hps website and puruse the manual available for download as well as the FAQ. This should give you a good idea as to the level of depth involved. It is a very high learning curve sim. I think it is a lot like the land warfare version of something like Harpoon2. The game is considered BETA but that does not stop anyone from really enjoying its gameplay. There are a lot of developer changes which we on the boards have suggested and been listened too. That's nice for a company to respond to the wants and suggestions of its customer base like HPS has. We;ve become kind of the advisors to its developement.
It is a very complex game with a lot of things you can fine tune. Time of day, weather, cloud cover, grounf conditions, force allocation and coimmunications ratings and morale, equipment levels... just about anything. Give it a try and if you have more questions, just post em....
PS Eagle... I just noticed you hail from my homestate! Alas, our poor Packers are not going far in the playoffs..

Thanks for the tips guys. :) I'll check out that manual.
Yes, I am from WI but I'm a Chicago Bears fan. :) So, the Packers losing is OK with me...lol.
