ok folks i need someones help here, I have recently rediscovered the joys of playing my older games by talonsoft but cannot get either OAW or OAW2 to install on my computer, which is running Windows XP sp2, any step by steps to help me out would be greatly appreciated :shock:

It's all part of Talonsoft's moneymaking scheme. Apart from COW, none of the TOAW games seem to word with XP.

My copy of TOAW I worked fine with XP, except that it didn't display place names properly on the map.

Your best bet is probably to take off SP2, from what I've heard it isn't worth it...

I never got TOAW II to work with XP, though. It installed fine but then claimed that it couldn't run on Windows NT... despite the fact that it was running in some other compatability mode (I tried ALL of the modes, to no avail...)
