Reading the Wintergewitter tourney threads I realised how fun was to write and read analysis about others' games.
AAR made by the two opponent is funny, but others' comments sometimes more funny as they are not blocked by the psychology of the game, so they can see more interesting aspects.

So I am thinking of a TOAW game where there are two players but supported by many people who help analyse the game and help on the game style. That can make beginners stronger and would be very funny to read in the end the other side's comments.

It is only a thought so any comments are welcome...

Sounds like fun, I'll try it. I need to learn this game. I've finally decided to print the manual so I can read it. :crosseye: from trying.

Gen_Electric, skip the manual, there are no shortcuts. The only way forward and up leads climbing over piles of dead red army.

You need to begin small, like commanding the Soviets in GiO, and simply push forward, learn the hard way. :)

Laszlo, AAR's are great reading, but maybe there should be a coupled thread next to the AAR, for anybody's comment, to encourage the author and discussion?

Well, it helps explain some things I'm trying to figure out. Ah, just polished my boots; I don't really want to climb over dead bodies, isn't there another way around? :) I'm not familiar with all the scenarios yet, GiO is?

That Red Army is being annihilated pretty fast, especially with the NATO nuclear release...

(I'm playing NATO to Gen Electric's WP in the "Nato-Warsaw Pact 62" scenario.)

I may be flattering myself, but my Poland is a pretty good scenario for learning the basics of Blitzkrieg. Just avoid strongpoints and don't attack with your panzers unless there is no alternative. Fast units should be used for movement, not combat.
