Yup but its certainly worth it for a demo... Heck I may be near the end but I gave up... I think that HL2 owns Halo 2... I just didn't find Halo 2 as invigorating as the first. The playing is great the multiplayer is godly but something in it doesn't hold the shock factor the first had... Now HL2 is like WOW!
The grav gun is everything I heard it was. And then you have steam so if you want you can also buy the game and download it!
I need to save money now..

also if the servers there are jammed www.fileplanet.com has it too.

DL'd it; signed up for Steam; installed it; can't play it. I'm guessing it's my vid card, again. I can see the blurry 'Loading' screen, then I hear the error sound and get kicked back to desktop, no error message that I can see.

Yeah, I doubt HL2 supports that. Even if it did, the settings and framerate it would get would be unbearable :(.
