No it don't only the interface, the only changes you will notice on the map
are the port, airfield, cursors, fonts to match the mod. :)

It looks great-good job. The different colors for highlighted unit vs. formation are a very nice improvement. I just installed it so I haven’t really looked at all the differences, but from what I’ve seen so far, I’m going to keep it.

Oh, that alone makes it worth a try for the huge scenario suckers ( :o ). I'll check it out too! :bounce:
Yeah - I've been testing it out for the past week or so, and have to say that I like the new airfields and ports, player-colored x's instead of gold dots, and the TO graphic leaves little room for misunderstanding.
Excellent work, Rick!
1st try, aaaaaaahh Airport and port look realy great.
Background little too black but that's my own opinion.
I found that map mouving is faster, and strange same for editor loading.
Good Job man

I think this mod is great as well.
Would have preferred a little lighter background to keep the mod in line with increasing readability.
Thanks Mantis :)

Rick,
really, you mod are nice, I trying them with EA; very nice especialy the green and red hex border for units selection.:hail:
Again the airports are very very very ( make a loop 10 times :D) bien, gut, muy bien, bueno, nice.
concerning the backgroung color Erik give the good point yes little bit lighter to avoid a too important contrast. It becomes painfull with time IMHO.
May be because I become an old timer of TOAW:whlchr:

Just one question before I download your mod:
Is it possible to return to the "old graphics" when installed ? :D
Copy your C:\Program Files\TOAW-CW\Graphics directory in some other place to save it before you install the mod, that way you'll always be able to re-install the standard graphic set.
0.02 € worth :)

Yes in the instructions it show you how to step by step and covers the files you have to back up.

Nice graphics, I would also prefer a lighter background if possible, maybe in light or medium grey... ;)

Any ideas as to why it scrolls across the map faster?

For an old guy with fading eyes, you make some really good graphics. Especially like the steel and brass cursors. They highlight the units without being overly distracting.
Kudos.

The game engine, graphics card don't have to deal with many images anymore nice and simple textures more ram for the task at hands. Good graphic programs help's at making good graphics :)

By the looks of it I might just have to do one it seems a few folks would prefer it. :)
Nice Mod. I like the airfields and harbours especially. I do however find that the green steel cursor disappears on maps with lots of forests. But I am partly colourblind (as is another 8,7% of the members of this forum)so do not let that bother you :D.
Is it possible to move the port icon to the extreme right in the the hex? That way harbours could be seen even when huge stacks are present in a hex. As you can see in the attached file the port icon is swallowed by the Helsinki defenders.

To avoid this it took the option to make airport and harbours symbols floating

Well, since we are doing requests, :D How about some new fortification graphics? That grey mess is awkward...

I know but that kind of covers the units.
Well what do you know. It was not that hard to move the icon.
Just open tiles_misc in the graphics file, mark the port icon and drag it to the right. This way both airfield and port can be seen.
I am on roll here (my apologies to all it is almost christmas and I am a bit giddy).
If you modify the brasscursor, you can even see both the airfield and the port even when the stack is marked.
I know but that kind of covers the units.
Yes I agree too.
I took the habit to select deselect the floating possibilities of harbour and airports. I let it floating when I move and deselect when I open fight.:smoke:
Not very user Friendly, just an habit to take:o
Der WanderClickUnclick:nuts:
I'm used to just pressing 'i' amd making the units invisible.
Rasmus, could you send me the files for those changes? I'd like to take a peek. Thanks!

The more I use this mod, the more I like it. Not only is it a little easier on the eyes, but it will save me 50 to 100 hours a year by reduced map reading time. Since time equals money; this mod has the potential to save the TOAW community millions of dollars per year.
Three cheers for Yukon Jack! Hip hip hooray!___ :salute:
**** **** ****, I'm totaly addicted to MOST of these mode
Ohhhh Great Mod Maker could you make some little clearer :D
Really Shane this guy did a great job for us
