I think of all the aspects of this game the one I least understand, has got to be Air Power.
1. How do you gain Airsuperiorty, especialy if you do not have it?
2.When I look at a unit such as the A-10, his armour killing power is I think a 4, how does this effect a tank with, let's say it's armour is 29
3. How much does proficency affect aircraft??

I just want to thank you guys for this site :D it's great and I think realy well run.
This truly is a great game. I think the one thing about this game is that it is not just about grafics. I beilieve this game is a real thinking mans game and I love it. Keep it up, Dan :D

As far as getting and maintaining air superiority goes, you might find useful information in the Air & Anti-Air section of the TOAW FAQ (http://www.warfarehq.com/index.php?page=toaw/TOAWFAQ2003.shtml) (a must-read ;)), more precisely point 11.

Regarding air attack values against hard targets and the effects of proficiency, no doubt some expert with first-hand knowledge of what's under the hood will shed some light on these points. At any rate, you may give a try at running some quick tests (based on Arracourt 44 for instance) with the -toawlog and -uberdude switches on to see what's going on in terms of game mechanics during air attacks.

Keep it up Dan! :D
