Well, we went from having +12c weather to -18c in a day. It's a couple days later now, and it hit -27c today, and we have snow.

So I thought I'd show you guys how a true Canadian survives the long Canuck winter...

Part of me wants to laugh...but part of me thinks this is how you Canadians REALLY use your snow-packed yards. We shouldn't laugh at others who live differently than we are used to.

Looks pretty bloody good Mantis, but there's only 24 beers there. Assuming you've got a mate along to have a beer with you (because only alchies drink alone), what do you do when you've polished those beers off? A dozen stubbies or cans each is only about 3 hours worth.

Do you send the missus out for a resupply?

How does that Mackenzie (sp?) Bros. song go?: 'On the first day of Christmas / my true love sent to me / a beer'

Aaaaah, I see said the blind man. Yeah, with another door or two, you'd be good to go all night.

Have you seen my tree?

And that'd keep the party goin' for a while too. You'd need to rotate them with the ones in the beer fridge, but I reckon you and your mates would be set for a good night in.

Have fun over Christmas, I think you've got the logistics sorted out.
