Anybody for this one? I dont want to take it, if it is possible. :OHNO:I have sent this one to the Pro-Gov Commander for him to deploy. Since I cannot allow both sides to deploy in the editor for FOW reasons, I have decided that the GN Team is still basically the defender. It should be completed soon.

File is ready. Who will take it, Dita or Katusa? Opponent is Skirmisher
I am afraid I cannot take it now. It is end of the year, and we have a lot of work to do. So Dita, please do it. Thanks.
Hi,
I`ve been out of the loop for a bit...PC problems etc.....But I`m ready and willing to take this one up. No doubt I`m a bit rusty now.... ;)

What is going on? I am really interested how my boys are doing in this battle. This is probably the decisive one of the whole campaign.
Forces are very close together, and engaged alreay. have laid the first barrage of mortars. ETA for the 120mm is 1.3 and 2.0 for some of the 60mm
Have routed about 4 enemy squads, but at a cost of several men. On MTLB spotted on first turn. Will send the southern and northern units on a flanking manuvere.
Predictable probably, but I`m hoping the big firefight on the main front will distract.
Is this battle going to anywhere? In the other one, we are almost finished! :(
On with the battle.....
After some small hiccups and email problems the battle has restarted...
A couple of turns in, I virually occupy the mayors office but with enemy forces directly to my south and east. Forces in the north sector are routed.retreating from their trenches and I managed to destroy one MTLB with RPGs that was supporting there troops in the north.
I sent one platoon wide across the north of the town to outflank, interestingly, I clashed with a group of 2 APCs and 2 enemy squads that were approaching from the NE towards to town (reinforcements?)
Did it stall again? Or just a Christmas cease-fire? :D
After a small seasonal ceasefire ;) the battle continues to rage....
The forces on the NE seems to have stalled the enemies reinforcements, destroying one BRDM, one MG and one enemy squad. Cost only several brave troops, no squads!!
The troops on the northern flank seem to have broken through, destroying several enemy squads in there advance. On the sourther flank, my anvance has stalled a bit, unable to flank a few stuborn groups. Did destory the BMP with tank fire!
In the middle, after a few probing advances, that were beaten back by stuborn resistance I`ve decided to hold my ground, hoping that the troops to the north can encircle and help me out.
I`ll try an take a screen shot next turn....
I nearly forgot!!!!!!!!!
The northern troops destroyed the enemy HQ unit.!!!!!!
Further advances on the north flank. Destroyed 2 more BMPs and wiped out a 60mm mortar and 120mm squads.
On the south, I have paused my advance to regroup. so far I has suffered few casulties (only single men, and perhaps about two squads in total)
Things seem to be going well thus far...
The battle still rages, with not much exchange of fire this time. Destroyed a few squads as they retreated, whelst the enemy inflicted further casualties on our troops.
Find the recon pictures attached (taken before our advance this turn)
recon pic of the northeast corner...
Live from the front......
More progress has been made on both the middle (mayors office) and the southern front.
I can spot 13 enemy units, of which 10 or routed or in retreating status! I have lost about 4 squads so far (2 scout units, one 60mm mortar and one infantry squad)
I am taking losses on the northern side (where I lost in infantry squad) and expect to loose another 60mm next turn. Was lucky with the southern tank, that survived a RPG shot (no hit), I managed to bring all weapons to bear on a stuborn group of troops which helped my advance on the south side.
More updates soon....

Can you have it finished by the end of next week, say January 21?
Can you have it finished by the end of next week, say January 21?
Certainly aim to finish by then :)
Further losses for me (the 60mm squad)
cannot seem to get close to the BMP and MTLB that are lurking around.
My armor was hit by direct 120mm mortar fire (ouch) but survived no problems, needless to say the enemy was severely punished :)
Find another screenshot attached....
Lost a couple of squads in the north, I am under pressure from the enemy on the northern side. Moved the tank to the north, hopefully, it will not be on the recieving end of too many RPGs!!
See screenshot, which, zoomed out, gives a good impression of the current situation, showing the enemy approaching on the north. Spotted a few more enemy further to the east, whether these are old troops previously retreated/routed or a reserve I`m not sure?!?!
