Has anyone played Full Spectrum Warrior for the XBox? I recommend you try the US Army cheat:

It changes the game to the US Army version which, among other things, allows you to customize team equipment, adds a squad leader, and gives you access to 6 new maps and missions not included in the normal version.

I'm boycotting FSW until Pandemic actually responds regarding the huge number of problems with the PC version - including the fact that the army version wasn't included.

The artillery, close air support, and mortar model are identical, indistinguishable, in fact.

You have to get to within about 30m to call for fire on a target. I would not get within 30m of a 40mm grenade target, let alone a mortar or artillery target.

But, as a trainer of tactical thinking at the fire team level, it is excellent. I am not happy at all with the linear nature of the individual tactical vignettes (You are at one end of a road <with/without a corner> and at the other is a <insert weapon system here>.) But it IS an entertaining game, more so than any first person shooter I have played since Ghost Recon.
