Just curious here, anyone care to offer a best to worst ranking of the PzC series for someone looking to add to their collection of same.

Opinions greatly appreciated.
I am just looking for PzC rankings though guys, so try to keep down the outside comparisons :)

It would be hard for me to give a top 11 list as I have not played through most of them. I can give you general ideas about each title though. Like which ones offer more maneuver vs more static battles. That kind of thing.

Smolensk & Kharkov are both big with nice maps and very fluid battles. The zoc's are very loose.

Normandy is a painful toe to toe slug fest. No fast break through's here. But if you want a game that captures the feeling of Normandy Hedgerow fighting this is it. This one come with a complete 700+ turn campaing that covers the first 3 months of fighting if monster games are your thing! The normal campaign in this one is 250 turns.

Rzhev is a good one featuring Operation Mars and Uranus winter battles, and includes a few battles from the previous summer. This title is also much more static and features the new Storm feature.

I think both Tobruk and El Alamein are great fun. Very fluid armor centric battles. (I am a fan of the North African Desert war though...) The maps are big but well desert so they don't have a lot of features. The plus side of this is when you are done you feel like such places as Tobruk, Sidi Rezegh, Sidi Omar, are a part of your own neighborhood as if you new exactly where they are. El Alamein has LRDG to disrupt supply!

Sicily I have not played much yet but you get to take the whole island. The rocky ground will keep movement slow and like the desert battles the rough terrain is not much to look at.

Bulge is excellent. Mud, Forests and Snow will keep your armor on the roads if you want it to get anywhere.

Market Garden has a 76 turn campaign which a lot of people seem to enjoy. You can actually finish the whole campaign! The map is small. Movement through the damp poulder is slow road movement can get congested. If you like Market Garden this game is great because you can play the entire operation, not just pieces of the operation.

Kursk is in the mail to me as I type this :D
and I have yet to get Korsun 44.

Most of this you have probably heard before but it is the best I can do at the moment. Hope it helps!

You've pretty well summed it up. I have them all except Kharkov for some reason. Smolensk gives me the best gaming experience and El Alamein for the desert warfare aspect of it.

Thanks guys.

I have Tobruk, Rzhev, and Sicily in my own stash, and was wondering what to add next.

I have a tendency to play Sicily quite a bit also as it has a good Canadian content in it plus I have a relative who fought with 1 CID so it puts it all in perspective for me.
