Actually we'll start on 9/16. So still some time for stockpiling. Btw, when will the next (final?) version of DNO be released?

I think Daniel is up to his elbows in oher projects right now. I'm not sure, but I think the last word I got was that he is not planning to mess with DnO for quite a while. I'll see if I can get clarification.

That would be great. I've always wanted to give that scenario a try, but wanted to wait until he was done 'patching' it up. No big rush.

Has anyone every finished that monster?

I am completing my Soviet 5th turn of my DNO 3.0 game against James, which means we are only up to the second week in July. It has been very slow going, he is playing a lot of other scenarios and I have been pretty busy, plus I was gone for a long while this summer. It seems to me like I am losing really bad, but it is very hard to tell having never played this scenario before. The scale of magnitude of the military disaster facing the Soviets at the start of the campaign is magnified a hundred times in this scenario, and the territory and military losses seem immense (and they are). The winter seems like a very, very long ways off.

Anyways, at our current rate and barring any major collapses on either side we should be done with the game in around, oh, 4 years. :)

For the Motherland!

I think that Daniel replied in another post that DNO 3.3 is the 'almost' final version, no major changes planed.

I found a little bug in 3.3, nothing important, that might get fixed but I guess if you want to play DNO you could just go with 3.3.

By the way, in my DNO-game I'm the Axis and have just finished turn 13, waiting for the soviet response. If you want to play DNO 3.3 and are willing to play the Axis and are still looking for an opponent, I'd like to play the soviet side for a change :)
