Please forgive a noob question...does spwaw still support online play? I read the manual and can't seem to find combat.net online. I am aware of PBEM, just wondering about online play. I notice in the spwaw program that when I click on online play I am instructed to enter a given IP address to join. Any help? Thanks.

Thanks.I am not sure that the combat.net is still operating but you should still be able to play with others via TCP/IP. You just have to coordinate the Battle creating player's IP Address so you know what to enter to join.

Thanks Double Deuce for clearing that up, pbem is probably a better venue as it can take quite a while to make one turn in some scenarios, making for a long wait online. On a side note, I follow your combat campaigns with much interest. That is a great concept.

Say I know a player pretty well and I can recommand him. He is tops so don't expect him to just roll over and play dead. His alias is ICED. He plays online.

Sorry i didn't get back to you sooner danstudentvcc. I have been involved in some pbem fights and am enjoying them. I plan to stick to pbem for now, it actually works out quite well for me. Maybe you would be willing to thrash a lowly private in a pbem contest if you have the time...
