Sent an APC with scouts down the road to perform advanced scouting and our unit was engaged by a support team. Lost the vehicle to RPG fire and the scouts are pinned. I will have to use caution in this battle.

Our scouts were eliminated by Pro-Government Scouts...Flanked an APC around a hillside and spotted 2 APC's and a MT-LB. I am moving our tanks into an ambush position to get them.

Our units engaged several enemy units and have eliminated 3 of them (Scout, RPG Unit, Support Unit). Our tanks came in for support and wiped out a MT-LB. We have engaged their HQ and forced them to turn around. We will be moving in next turn to try and wipe out more units.

Our forces are being swarmed by Pro-Government forces and we are nailing their infantry units. Our tanks have engaged their APC's and trucks and they are taking heavy losses. We are winning this battle...If they don't withdraw I think we will eliminate all of the oppressor's units ;)

More of the same. We took a small number of casualties by mortar fire this turn, otherwise we are still winning the battle. Destroyed one of their trucks and routed alot of their units.

We suffered slight casualties from a heavy exchange of mortar, rocket, machinegun, and small arms fire from Pro Government troops. We also lost one BRDM-2. In return, our T-54's ripped several of their squads apart and many units are retreating.

We suffered minimal casualties once again. Our tanks and small arms fire is reducing the enemy strength. They advanced some down the road, but we control most of the road and surrounding woodline. I expect they may try one more push soon. If not, we will advance down the road and see if we can gain full control.

Lost a BRDM-2 and took light casualties. The road wasn't as clear as once thought. Caused several Pro-Government units to run off in terror (disperse). I will proceed to probe carefully for remaining enemies, but feel that we control the majority of the road and surrounding area.

One of our T-54 tanks ambushed a BMP-R and eliminated it from the battle. We took light casualties from a unit north of the road who is well concealed and providing sporadic fire upon us. 2 more Pro-Government squads took heavy casualties. This has been a bloody battle for the Pro-Government soldiers, but they are staying persistent in their desire to win. I Wish the Pro-Government soldiers would realize they are defeated and retreat.

It appears that the Pro Government forces were not finished with the fight just yet. More forces emerged from the north of the road. We rerouted some tanks there to support our infantry and inflicted more casualties. To the south of the road we had a T-54 tank get immobilized from RPG fire. We will regroup and hold onto the areas we control to avoid a battle of attrition with the enemy. I feel we inflicted a higher casualty rate in comparison to our losses sustained.
