Hi, can anybody tell me anything about this game? Does it have extra scenarios/rules etc. I have EF ver 1.03 (patches), is it worth buying? If so, where can you get it from and how much is it. I am in England. If i install it, does it overwrite my existing saved games or do i treat it as a new game entirely.

Possibly referring to "Fall of the Reich"?

If so, the disc comes with new three LCGs and 17 standalone scenarios.

The primary feature was the introduction of night fighting rules.

Which version of East Front 2 are you running? I'm confused about your 1.03 patched version, ... as far as I knew there was no 1.03 patch available, only 1.02. I do realize that Fall of the Reich (FOTR is 1.03 and there is 1.03 available with World at War (W@W).

If you are using the W@W version of EF2 then you already have the contents of the FOTR disc included.

Hi, my mistake on the title. I do have EF II, but i downloaded patch 1.03 from the old Talonsoft website, but i dont have the star shell capability mentioned in another post.

Thanks for the additional info on the game, i'll have to see if i ca find a copy.

Scorched, you can find a download at The Blitz which can upgrade EFII to the night fighting patch - Starshells etc

Hi Wolf, thanx for the info. I downloaded and installed the patch which has given me some weird purple dots on my menu screen, but does not interfere with the game. Can you tell which scenarios are night games in EFII as i have not played any.

Try Blood Moon. Terror at Arnswald is another I believe.

So you know almost everyone has version 1.02. This is straight EFII and a cleaner engine than WF. Fall of the Reich and EFII Gold are version 1.03. These include night rules and LCG's of GD at Kursk and Russians and Germans around Berlin in'45.

As for patches I've only seen the one for EFII. I have never seen a patch for Fall of the Reich or EFII Gold

There is a Fall of the Reich review posted in the Reviews section on the main Warfare HQ webpage. Just go to the Campaign Series section and follow the link to the reviews.
