Being in the inactive reserves, I'm not gonna vote. But if I was, Iron Mike would be my choice. I'm sure that any of the above mentioned guys would do a fine job but consider this. Go read IronMike's after action reports and blog in the boardgaming Diplomacy thread. The amount of time, planning and record keeping he put into that game was amazing. This is just my opinion, but I think he would do an outstanding job for the ACG team.

I would like to withdraw my candidacy from this poll.

I really wouldn't have a clue how to run something like this and I was very surprised to see my name up there in lights.

The honour should go to others, those who had the ideas in the first place. I'm really very happy with the job in the Clan that I've been given.

In addition, from a Command POV, it doesn't make sense to have your CO or XO sitting on the other side of the planet in a massively different timezone from most of the other members of the unit.

My decision has nothing to do with the apparent "slow-assassination" attempt by other candidates in somehow inflicting me with the viral infection which is currently causing me some problems. :D

Seriously though, I don't mean to cause offence to those who have voted for me, because it's really nice of you, but if voting continues in this fashion, and if I win, I will immediately step down and hand the reins over to the runner-up. IF I win, perhaps I could instead just be some kind of nominal head? Alternatively, I'm happy just to be your "mascot".
