Thanks Jim, I have The French and Indian Wars game from HPS. They are a good company.

I picked up this excerpt from another website from a guy who is enjoying Alamein '42 - I thought it might be of some interest here.

I'm playing stonger Axis because it seems that even against no opposition it might be somewhat difficult to take Alexandria moving overland given the breakdown rate. The breakdown feature is a great idea as is the replacement rate: Finally gives wargamers a real reason for not moving units about too much as military units tend to spend a lot of time in one place. All this makes for a great game, especially having weather (Sand Storms).
