TOAW 2 under win xp

I can't get TOAW 2 to run under Win XP. Any suggestions (already tried unsafedisk, didn't work)? Does this mean I have to buy ACOW?

Indeed, you better go with ACOW. Most, if not all people are playing ACOW these days. And I believe you can't play a PBEM game if the 2 players have different versions...

TOAW 2 worked for me in XP once I installed the most recent patch. It did not work at all without the patch.
