Hi folks, anyone got any ideas on a Britain invaded scenario, modern or other?
I thought about a Scandinavian invasion (disputes about shipping or oil in the North Sea spilling into war). Or a combined Europe turning on Britain and America, with Britain being the cause of a continent wide epidemic of Foot and Mouth and the rest of Europe being a little angry with them about it. America then steps into help.
Or WW2 Operation Sealion, perhaps even a German landing on Ireland, using it as a stepping stone. Irish would also fight alongside the Germans, providing that after Britain is defeated they have the whole of Ireland to themselves.
Also had an idea about an English Civil War in 1940, after British defeats in France the country is in uproar as Churchill plans to carry on fighting, What if there are riots and renegade factions within the Army lead to open Civil War, like in Spain the four years before? Perhaps a welsh or Scottish government is formed and the regiments under thier command turn upon the English, or the English attack first.?
Any thoughts (Positive) on this?
