Daniel, I recently dowload your DNO scenario and it truly is a masterful effort. Just like your previous efforts: Operation Mars, Toburk, Sevastopol.... Not only are your OOBs and TO&Es done with painstaking accuracy, but the creative ways your leverage the full potential the Event Editor makes your scenarios a great way to acquire additional insights into a battle/campaign.

I am looking forward to the release of your strategic level treatment of the "Great War." A period that has been largely neglected by most TOAW scenario designers. I myself am slowly working on a France 1918 -- March to November 1918 scenario--and from that experience I have some appreciation for the considerable time and effort you put into your scenario designs. Your scenarios are a professional grade product that I would gladly pay for the privilage of playing.

Thanks for all the great scenarios.

Lascar

Daniel, are you still working on a World War I scenario? If so, what can you tell us about it?

Re WWI I have the map and basic OB done but I have put it aside for the time being.

Right now I am deeply into a DnO extension:
BERLIN: Götterdämmerung am Osten 1944-45. DnO maps extended to the Elbe.
Yep, another monster being born.

Daniel, any word on Tobruk 3.7 to fix that one minor flaw in 3.6? I am anxiously waiting to start another game until 3.7 comes out!

PS I am more than happy to help playtest any changes if you need help in that department.

I am really glad to hear you are working on the follow up to DNO, Daniel. I am definately looking for something late war, Eastern Front. Your work is really terrific. Any idea when it will be ready (pant, pant!!).

OMG, I have to finish DNO quickly to be ready for the Götterdämmerung :)

DNO is definitively the best TOAW scenario I've ever played !!

Hi,

I was wondering if this scenario was available for download somewhere. I like very much DNO and the other scenarios that McBride has made. I have only just started playing the DNO. Great details and huge OOB. I was wondering how somebody could do that (without freaking out), and how long it took.

Operation Braunschweig is one of the scenarios he's had under development for a while. The release date is whenever he gets around to finishing it.

I have it, but I'm afraid I can't give it out. I'm not sure when Daniel is going to release it to the general public.

The scenario archives at warfareHQ.com would be the first place to look.

Well I have done that. Sevastopol and Operation Mars are not listed there. Any other suggestions?

Maybe Stauffenberg can answer this for you.

My apologies in not responding for awhile there; I tend to dive into projects with what spare time I have and I received a shitload of new books in the mail recently, felt like an early Xmas. I will be making a special effort to send Don the following scenarios to be put up on a separate page within the following week:

--Updated DNO
--Operations Heron & Edelweiss (Braunschweig--Stalingrad & Caucasus '42)
--Operation Mars (Soviet PO)
--Tobruk 3.7
--El Alamein (British PO)
--Bulgemax (Rundstedt's Plan Martin for Ardennes Offensive--'what if' variant)
--Sevastopol '42
--Operation Trappenjagd (Crimean Kerch Isthmus '42)

BERLIN: Götterdäammerung am Osten 1944-45 is proceeding at breakneck speed with the DNO map extended to Berlin and Adriatic--pretty much finished. Entire Soviet OB is complete right down to late arriving JS-II tank rgts. German OB done for Finnish Front and AGC. The Balkans is really slowing me up with the detail involved--a game in itself there (as usual).
This is going to be the scenario I would take to a desert island if I was allowed only one *s*.

Regards,

Daniel
