Battlefield 1918

Not sure if you guys have heard of this or not, but…

There’s a WWI mod for Battlefield 1942 and it’s called Battlefield 1918. I just downloaded it last night and it’s pretty darn good. I’d rank it right up there close to Desert Combat in terms of production quality.

I just got BF1942 working on my computer tonight. I will be sure to download this new mod. Finally, WW1 is getting some attention in the computer world!

Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed with BF1918. It doesn't seem to play very well for me like the rest of the BF Mods.

Correct me if im wrong but a really good WWI game as a concept is good but it is very very hard to execute. So would you say it lives up to BF's standards?

Is it a new mod? Some of the dissappointment may come from it being unpolished, if you are used to Desert Combat or some of the other mods that have had several releases. From the downloads section, it looks new, but they may not have the really old releases.
