Battlefield: 42 Tech Problems

Hey all,
I just purchased BF and it starts up and all just fine (Somehow the developers made it so that their logo runs) then when I try to play, it dissappears....nada...nothing...
any suggestions?

I decided to post this here because I figure the largest number of BF players would surf this board.

Vietnam, or BF42?
What is your graphics card, memory and other stats?
Do they meet the requirements?

My biggest guess would be that you have a system's requirement issue.

On your start menu, go to EA folder select the BF game. Under its menu there should be something called EAsy Info. Run that and it will run a test on your system to see if the game is compatible. If everything is fine, you should try EA support.

thanks for the help! I delved deeper into the question and found that there is known conflicts with the same type of graphics card that I have, but EA's list didn't specifically mention mine, and I didn't see mine on the list. I try to check the requirements before I purchase a game, but the stupidity of computer companies that can't make things compatable.

I'm a newb to BF1942 and I'm still learning the game. Good thing about coming late is that the game is soooo cheap! got BF1942 deluxe at Half-price books for $10!

Both XWW2 and FH1942 are like entirely new games with the graphics, new vehicles, new weapons, new damage models, etc! what a great deal!

I downloaded XWW2 and love it!! bad side is that I can never find anyone playing the mod online!

so...I downloaded Forgotten Hope and have been playing that online. I highly recommend it. Not quite as good as XWW2 but at least I can find a few servers with other people!

Experience WW2 is struggling do to the release of newer mods, but it will have an update coming up. There are people on, in numbers at times.
