Yes, for all you BF fanz (which I dont think there are many on here, or I havent heard ya yet) Dice is making a Modern day verison of Battlefield.

Could DICE be attempting to playoff of DC's success? Maybe Battlefront is trying to key in on Galatic Conquest.
Well, I'm sure one part of it DC's success, but it's the next logical game for them to make anyway. On the otherhand, I really, really want to see a NATO vs. Warsaw Pact battlefield game [or at least a quality mod]...
In fact, if I knew people who were capable of doing the 3d models and animations, I'd do the coding. :)

I would love to see a NATO vs Warsaw Pact version of the Combat Mission series (You know, the Battlefront.com games like Afrika Corps and Barbarossa to Berlin). That one would certainly have my money.

Good idea, but the heavier emphasis on air power might need quite a bit of code-juggling. In the CM games you can have planes, but you never see them.

I do some 3d Modeling.
Garrison, find some more modellers, and I might try and learn some map editing and I know the coding. :)
Actually, I wonder if I should make a thread to see if we could build a team right from this forum!

You know, you guys need to keep that thought open.
I can see the day when Armchair General branches out it's own game company. :horse:

Hey Jim, until that day, how about an official "Armchair General Seal of Approval" with a star rating that game publishers could add to their adverts, game packaging etc?

That's in the works also, Doc! If you'll notice the star ratings on our game reviews...
Would the Armchair General forums be a bad place to think about recruiting for projects? I don't want to break any rules! :)
