help. please. and don't tell my dad i'm in under his name.

hi. um. i'm pierre's daughter. i need to know what TOAW is all about, but i can't understand my dad's long words and thorough scentecnces. So, really, do you guys think you could tell me what TOAW is? actually, i'm designing some kind of logo or artwork, dedicated to TOAW, for the sole purpose of showing my dad and watching him leap for joy. (God, he loves this game.)

Anyway, yeah. also, do i put airplanes or tanks into the picture? i need advice. :) i tried to ask dad, buuuuut.... he went of into this long conversation using long, complicated words like "strategy" and "military tactics." not that i don't know what they mean, but the way he used them... does he kow what they mean? anyways...besides, he doesn't know art. and i won't admit that i don't know how to draw a rifle. not that i couldn't learn. seems easy enough...

yeah, this was just a roundabout way of asking the following- a) what is TOAW about? and
b) if you could design a picture, or artwork, or something, dedicated to all the TOAW fans, what would you put in it, and why?

I hate to say it but your dad is going to know you've been in under his name the next time he checks the message board :D

As for your question, TOAW is basically a wargame - you play around with pretend soldiers, tanks, and airplanes ... but its a thinking person's wargame = quite complicated to play.

I'm playing a game of Europe Aflame against your dad at the moment (a world war 2 game, so I assume he's interested in this period of history). I think the ideal artwork would involve a large tank in the foreground (maybe a "Tiger" or "Panther" tank) with maybe some airplanes overhead.
