I wanted to post on this forum to see if there was much interest in a Multi-Player Tournament using the Campaign Series (actually WF) similar to the Operation Konrad one being run on the Blitz website. I am still learning the design part of this game series but I feel it lends itself well to the multi-player concept.

My idea is to do a tournament with Sicily as the area of contention (July 1943). I have an idea of what it would take to run it as I am doing one already but am using SPWAW a the tactical battle engine.

Let me know what you think so I can get an idea of the level of interest in a project like this.

I have posted some preliminary information to my website at Combat-Campaigns (http://www.combat-campaigns.com) then just follow the West Front link.

Thanks.

Double,

I think there's definately some interest. We had twenty people plus backups playing an OMAHA tourniment until a month ago when the allies lost a commander. (let's just say he was 'blown up') ;)

If you're interested in assuming the position, contact Mister Lawrence.

As for Sicily, I'm game! let me know if you need any help.

Thanks Major,

My campaign is still in its early stages but you can see what I have up so far at West Front - Sicily Tournament (http://www.combat-campaigns.com/cs_wf/) . Some pages are still empty but the maps and some general information is there.
