Listen up you maggots! Don has handed the reigns of the OPFOR tournament to me as part of the general changing-of-the-guard when he assigned me to TOAW Section Leader. This means you are all now MINE! MOO-HAH-HAH-HAH :freak:

My first order of business is to cut those who are non-responsive, then find replacements, end round 2, help Tim prepare for round 3, and then get round 3 started. No small task, let me tell you!

General Questions:

Who is Tzar playing (if anyone?)

How far along is the Cheetah vs. Bruce game?

How far along is the Mantis vs. Raver game?

Is FIST officially MIA? Major Cat, you make the call.

Is Ming officially MIA? Major Cat, you make the call.

I have one player available (Tigersqn) for the allies in round 3. We need a few more volunteers for the allies. I notice too that Kraut, Cecrops, and Marko are in the OPFOR reserve queue. We might be able to use them on the allied side if needed in round 3.

Note to all: Please don't play round 3 if you don't think you have the time or don't want to play or whatever. Better to step out (with no penalties to your team) in between rounds rather than play a turn or two and then drop out. Be considerate, some people really take this stuff seriously! (myself included)

 I LIKE TO WIN

My game with Raver is behind, but this has been due to personal difficulties lately. Raver and I will power through the round shortly...

Major has a replacement for Ming, and I have already contacted Keef about this. (Not sure who the new player is).

At this point I am not sure a replacement is appropriate. We can't have games starting now. We are trying to wrap things up!

Ming will probably just have to take a forfeit.

I sent my turn 6 to Cheetah on the 15th.

This game has been really dragging as Cheetah has been busy with exams. He says that he is now on holiday and should be able to go a bit faster. Still no reply to my last move yet...

Round 2 will probably run through the holidays since people are going to be doing other things for the next couple weeks. Lets make the deadline for round 2, January 4th.

That will give Tim time to finalize the round 3 scenario, it will give everyone else time to recuperate from round 2 and hit things fresh in the new year. Once January 4th hits though...all games will be called and we will move on to round 3. Then, it will be "magic hour" when anything can happen! :cheeky:

Might one ask by whom?

If they also tested the first 2, I demand a recount!

Wow. Don's gained over 200 posts since I've been mostly away... I'll never catch him now unless I start flooding the trading post forum and no one notices.

That would be the correct call. I can accept the forfeits for both Ming and Fistandantilus's games for the sake of moving on.

(Mantis looks at the OPFOR players on our team)

Y'know, it's not a very cool state of affairs when with the skilled players OPFOR has at it's disposal, two US forfeits grant the team more points than it's apparently going to earn this round.

Stiff upper lip, boys! We fight the good fight!
