I need recommendations on the best scenarios to play vs. the AI in ACoW. I never play vs. a person so please don't mention that. I know the original Korea is good vs. the PO but are there any others? Please specify which side I should play in the scenarios. Thanks.

OK, good scenario versus PO is Normandy I just started one turn and I see that AI is pretty agressive as Allies. So play like Germans. And, you can try Operation Blau to see how AI is stupid with bombing aifields all the time and letting you encircle so many divisions without him even noticing it. So if you want to capture Moscow, try Operation Blau but - no fun.

here are a few rules to have a good scenario against the po
1) keep the map smal
2) prefer a tactical one over a strategical one
3) don't take a scenario in which there are house rules
4) don't take a scenario with teather options
to end if you want some fun don't send small units in its rear rather go for a frontal/flank attack but classical fighting

Operation Mars or El Alamein are often mentioned as good against the PO.

Also, the PO is better at attack than defense, so it's often best to play as the defensive side against the PO. I usually set PO intelligence and cheat one notch higher in the options when I play against the PO. Sometimes games get a little crazy when giving the PO a significant advantage, but at least it makes it a bit challenging.

If you can resist the temptation to play the guerrilla forces striking at Japanese supply points from the jungle gambit, and fight a "traditional" type battle, then Luzon '41-'42 on the CoW disk, played as the Americans against the Japanese PO is a challenge.

Hello,

A good one is Vietnam 1965-75.
It is very playable alone as the nva/vc as well as the US/Arvn.
being the communists is a little better, more action that way.
Either or, no matter.
It is a long scenario though, rather big as well.

Just to make sure, is that the Normandy scenario that appears on the ACoW CD?

Yes, actually it's Rommel's Normandy variant, you have it on a CD - I just started scenario and I was quite amazed what AI is doing, I think that he was executing perfect invasion, airborne assault etc...
